Speaking and Events: Book Design, Self-Publishing, Authorship

I bring a rare perspective to the platform. I have been working in publishing, in one form or another, for my entire working life: as an in-house designer at a major London publisher, as a freelance cover designer for the biggest names in British books, as co-founder of a creative agency with its own publishing arm supporting indie authors, and now as a published author navigating his own independent route with a readership on both sides of the Atlantic.

My speaking history includes the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses Programme, York St John University Business School, creativity workshops at TEDxVitoriaGasteiz in Spain (2016 to 2018), a lecture in the Topsham Museum Autumn series in 2023, and workshops for final-year medical students at the University of Exeter. I am a regular speaker at UK literary festivals on publishing and the independent author experience.
